Second experiment began on 3rd of May.

Two syringes with sand – one sterile and one non-sterile – were prepared and put in the same setup as in the first experiment, but using a different source of calcium.

The experiment was ended on the 8th of May. The sand was wet but not cemented at all. The mistake was thought to be due to the change of calcium.
